Beginner BASS Review!

Welcome to the Beginner Bass Review!
Let's go through the basics and make sure you're up to speed!

1. Playing a simple chord progression

Start by playing a simple chord progression over a standard rock beat.
Focus on your timing while playing whole notes, then build up to eighth notes.

2. The Major Scale

Now let's run through one octave of the C Major scale.

3. Improvising over a Basic 2-Chord Progression

Use your C Major and G Major scales to make up something.

Follow the bass drum to make solid bass parts!

4. Improvising in Drum Fills

In this example, keep following the bass drum until the drum fill in the last bar. Experiment with what you can do during a fill.
